Blekingetrafiken delay compensation

Blekingetrafiken says you claim from the regional transport company that sold the ticket, regardless of where the journey started. If you bought through Blekingetrafiken's app, on a bus, from a ticket machine, on the website or from an agent in Blekinge, use Blekingetrafiken's claim flow.

• A delay of at least 20 minutes can qualify for compensation.
• Cancelled departures are assessed by how late they make you at the final destination.
• Planned changes announced at least three days in advance are compensated only if the delay exceeds what was announced.
• Resplus journeys are claimed through Resplus and have special terms.

If you wait and continue the journey, Blekingetrafiken can reimburse part of the fare. You receive one option: ordinary compensation or reimbursement for taxi, own car or other transport.

• 20-39 minutes: 50% of the journey price.
• 40-59 minutes: 75% of the journey price.
• 60 minutes or more: 100% of the journey price.
• A value code always gives at least SEK 50.

Searches for Blekingetrafiken taxi compensation and Blekingetrafiken own car are about alternative transport. If it was reasonable to believe you would be at least 20 minutes late, taxi, private car or similar can be reimbursed.

• The maximum amount is SEK 1,500 per traveller.
• Own car is reimbursed according to the Swedish Tax Agency norm, currently SEK 25 per 10 km.
• Registration number and receipts may be needed.
• Flight tickets, missed appointments, lost income and similar consequential costs are not reimbursed.
